Minor Eye Conditions Service (MEC)

The Minor Eye Care service is free for all patients who are registered with a Rotherham GP and over the age of 5 years old. Patients must have a recent eye problem which falls into one of the categories listed below.  Patients can refer themselves into the service by calling the telephone number of the participating optometrist they want to access. A list of the participating optometrist can be found here. The practice will ask you a number of questions to see if you are suitable for the service and book you into an appointment if appropriate.
