On July 4th 2018, RCCG held its AGM, alongside an event to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the NHS.

The CCG Chair, Dr Richard Cullen welcomed over 100 people; including former staff who had shared their memories with us. It was also great to see the aspirations of attendees.

Chris Edwards, the chief officer presented the achievements of the previous year; and Wendy Allott detailed the organisations financial position. These are summarised in the presentation.

Following this presentation, a panel of GPs took questions from the audience. Click here to see the questions and answers from the AGM.

Memories of the NHS

1948 saw the start of the 70 years of the NHS, there have been many changes between then and now.

We interviewed many people who shared their memories of the NHS; click to see Eva's storyLucy's storyMargaret's story and Rose and Elaine's story.

In addition one family with four generations of NHS service shared their experience with us, and finally a woman who worked as a community midwife shared a selection of anecdotes with us.

 Aspirations for the NHS

In Rotherham, our Youth Cabinet decided to write down their aspirations for the future of the NHS.
