The Macmillan Living With And Beyond Cancer Programme 

Over 80 people attended the launch of The Macmillan Living With And Beyond Cancer launch on Tuesday 19 April. 

Speakers from Macmillan Cancer Support and Commissioners Working Together spoke about the changing cancer landscape, the opportunity to do things differently and how we are better placed to do this working together. 

People affected by cancer attended the event, they were asked ‘what is good cancer care and support?’ you can watch the short film on YouTube. 

During the launch attendees were asked to write out their personal pledge of support for the programme.  Richard Metcalfe, Programme Lead, made his pledge of support for the programme:   

“I pledge to listen to people affected by cancer every step of the way to make sure we get it right”
