In accordance with Section 12(1) of the FOI Act 2000 the CCG can refuse to provide information on the grounds of cost.  In estimating the cost, the following tasks can be considered: establishing if the information is held; locating the information; retrieving the information; and extracting the information.

 

For your particular request, it is estimated that it would take:

1 person at a flat rate of £25.00 per hour to retrieve the information from

1165 files x 15 minutes per file = 291.25 hours x £25.00 = £7,281.25.

 

Therefore the CCG is applying this exemption.
