The CCG does not hold this information. The dietetic service is funded under a block contract, under this contract all patients are seen whether they are referred by GPs or initiated from hospital. If initiated by Rotherham hospital, patients are referred directly to the community dietetic service. If initiated by hospitals outside of Rotherham, patients can be referred directly to the Rotherham Community dietetic service or to their GP who re-refers them to the Rotherham Community Dietetic service.
