I would like to know how many cases of breast reduction surgery have been granted funding by Rotherham CCG in the past 5 years.

If possible, I would like all statistics regarding how many applications for funding were made during this time, how many cases were granted funding in the 1st stage of application, how many cases were granted funding after appeal and how many applications were declined. I would also like to know what criteria were required in a breast reduction funding application by the Rotherham CCG in order for funding to be granted. Please note I am not asking about mastectomy cases.

2011/12 – No cases

2012/13 – No cases

2013/14 – 39 cases, 18 approved and 16 declined

2014/15 – 31 Cases, 7 approved and 21 declined

None were approved after appeal as Rotherham CCG have had no appeals.
